Yellow Dog Outfitters specializes in waterfowl hunting & flyfishing North Carolina's Appalachian Mountains.We offer the waterfowler a chance to hunt ducks & geese while surrounded by the Appalachian Mountains. Canada geese, mallard. pintail, woodduck, merganser, teal, & coot all frequent the area. We offer traditional blind-style hunts as well as floathunting trips. The hunts usually last until late morning, but we will stay all day if your bag limits or expectations are not met. Our flyfishing trips offer you the chance to catch a variety of species in the countless streams & rivers nestled in the Blue Ridge. Species sought include; rainbow, brown, and brook trout as well as smallmouth bass & muskie. Whether a professional or just starting out, Yellow Dog Outfitters can accommodate you. Our trips range from a half day, to an all day excursion.
